THE EXPLANATION

What is behind the claim.

Botulinum toxin temporarily reduces activity in treated muscles and can soften certain expression lines. Fillers are used to change volume or contours. Hyaluronic acid is a common filler material. An injection alone therefore tells you little about its substance, purpose or risks.

CONTEXT & LIMITATIONS

What to take away.

Each procedure has its own risks. Whether either is suitable requires an individual medical assessment. Ask specifically about the product, intended outcome and limitations.
