Can moisturizer permanently erase deep wrinkles?
No. Hydration can make fine lines look smoother. That is a useful skincare effect, but different from permanently removing deep wrinkles.

„Moisturizer alone permanently erases deep wrinkles.“
False statementTHE ANSWER
What is true about it?
No. Moisturizer can help retain water in the skin and temporarily make lines less visible. The AAD and Mayo Clinic distinguish this skincare effect from the much greater changes that some before-and-after presentations suggest. A smoother appearance immediately after application does not establish permanent removal of deep wrinkles. This does not diminish the value of suitable moisturizing care.

The context behind the claim.
The original post discusses these expectations; it does not promise a miracle cream. Our FALSE verdict concerns only deep wrinkles and a permanent effect from moisturizer alone. Other active ingredients, regular sunscreen and medical treatments are separate topics with their own evidence. Lighting, expression or filters also cannot reliably be identified as the cause of a visible change from a short clip alone.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Making a more informed decision.
First distinguish dryness, fine lines and pronounced wrinkles as different concerns. Choose care suited to your skin and compare changes under similar lighting over a meaningful period. If you still want a specific treatment, a dermatology consultation can help clarify appropriate options and realistic goals. A more elaborate or expensive routine is not automatically more effective.
